Chris Hallquist Biography

Chris Hallquist is the author of the controversial new book UFO’s, Ghosts, and a Rising God: Debunking the Resurrection of Jesus. Raised as a liberal Protestant, Hallquist, 22, recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI, with a BA in Philosophy. He will be a graduate student in philosophy at the University of Notre Dame in the fall of 2009. While an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin, he was involved in running the student organization Atheists, Humanists, and Agnostics.

Hallquist is the contributor of a chapter to the upcoming book, The Onion and Philosophy, edited by Sharron Kaye. In addition, he has had articles and critical reviews on religion, philosophy, science and politics published by Internet Infidels, aka The Secular Web. An avid reader, Hallquist spends much of his free time reading non-fiction books not only on philosophy, but also on science, religion, history and more.  In addition, he enjoys swing dancing (the American dance style of the 1920s and 1930s).  Raised in Oshkosh, WI, Chris Hallquist now lives in Notre Dame, IN.
