Bio
Hi, I’m Chris Hallquist. I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in philosophy. Currently, I am living in France, trying to learn French. In the fall, I will be attending graduate school in philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. Given the things that appear on my Works page, I think I can now claim the job title “writer,” though I haven’t yet verified my ability to actually make a living doing that. I write mainly about religion, philosophy, science, and politics, in roughly that order.
And yes, you can find out more about me on Facebook if you friend me and I accept you friend request, which I likely will, even if I have no idea who you are.
A note on comments: If you’re a new commenter, your comment will be held for moderation until I approve it, so don’t freak if your comment doesn’t appear right away. After that, you’ll be able to comment freely. However, I couldn’t live without my automated spam filter, which is pretty reliable, but occasionally zaps legitimate comments. I’ll try to check my spam bin for these, but no guarantees. Also, while I would like the comments of this blog to be a place for uninhibited criticism, substance free insults may get your comment deleted and maybe blacklisted. I’ll try to err on the side of letting things by, but you’ve been warned.
