Hi, I’m Chris. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in philosophy in ’09, and then got a masters degree in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame in ’11. In between, I spent a couple months traveling Europe (and Africa), initially with the funny idea that I would learn French in the process. Given the things that appear on my Works page, I think I can now claim the job title “writer,” though I haven’t yet verified my ability to actually make a living doing that. I write mainly about religion, philosophy, science, and politics, in roughly that order.
And yes, you can find out more about me on Facebook if you friend me and I accept you friend request, which I likely will, even if I have no idea who you are.
Now, as I type this, this bio is up to date. But there is a very good chance that now, as you read this, this bio is out of date. Update 2/4/2012: In fact, if you want to know what I’m up to these days, check out my new blog at FreethoughtBlogs.com
Comment policy: Mostly, I leave comment moderation to my automated span filter. It’s pretty reliable, but occasionally zaps legitimate comments. I’ll try to check my spam bin for these, but no guarantees. Also, while I’d like the comments of this blog to be a place for uninhibited criticism, substance free insults may get your comment deleted and maybe blacklisted. I’ll try to err on the side of letting things by, but you’ve been warned.
