New site online!

So, everyone who hated the old theme… well, you probably aren’t reading this, but I have a new theme for you. So people who liked the old theme, before you abandon me, find the people who didn’t like it and tell them they can come back now.

As you may have noticed, the new version of my site has a section for “works” and “book info,” so I’m taking the time to officially announce the launch of my book, <i>UFOs, Ghosts, and a Rising God: Debunking the Resurrection of Jesus,</a> which has gotten advance praise from Richard Carrier, John W. Loftus, and Ed Babinski. It set to be published in April of this year.

Finally, you’ll notice that the cool people at Waters Design added a bunch of fancy tools to the blog to help you tell people about the cool stuff you see on it. Just roll your mouse over the share/save button at the permalink of each post, and you’ll get to pick you favorite service for doing that. Or services–by all means use more than one!

  1. Congratulations on your book.

Also, I must say, even though I enjoyed your last blog theme (simple), this one is nice as well.

  2. Congrats on the book and the new design.

I was one of the (few?) fans of the old design. I kind of wish the fonts were a tiny bit bigger on this one, I think it would make it more readable (the text column is pretty wide, smaller fonts work best with narrower columns IMHO).

  3. You can actually control that a little from within your web browser, though maybe not as precisely as you’d like. Use control (or “command,” on Macs) with the -/_ key and the =/+ key to make the text smaller or larger, respectively.
