Discusses therapy promoted in a community paper, with emphasize on lack of evidence for the therapy’s effectiveness and dubious theoretical foundations.

Greta Christina, “What Convinced You?: A Non-Belief Summary… and an Atheist Game Plan.”

Presented the results of a small survey using a self-selected sample regarding the causes of non-belief in former believers. Discusses implications for activism and need for more research on this topic.

Yoo Chung, “Drowning Real Cures Among Quack Cures.”

Places current medical quackery in historical context, emphasizing positive long-term trends.

The Bronze Dog, “This Rant Is Just a Bunch of Ones and Zeroes.”

Discusses reductionism and the “just X” fallacy, which confuses something’s being X with that something’s just being X.

Brian Cooksey, “Why I Am What I Am.”

A personal history of influences contributing to subject’s current skepticism.

Barbara Martin, “Geiers’ Metabolite Values Are Questioned.”

Discusses flaws in recently published research by Mark Geier and David Geier relating to autism. Emphasizes inconsistencies between metabolite data presented by Geier and Geier with previously published data.
