A poll indicates that most evangelicals think that all good people will be saved!

I don't really believe most evangelicals believe that. What people write on a survey (or say in public, or which lever they pull in the voting booth, etc.) and what they privately believe are two different things. Perhaps a few of the more squeamish make excuses for people they know, "Well, he really believes in his heart...", but that's about the extent of it. I think most of them believe most people will end up in hell. Frankly, I think many (if not most) of them relish the idea. Pointing and snickering is supposedly going to be their chief form of entertainment.

And Craig's answer is pretty much what I've heard before from Christians of his ilk - they'll know, but they won't care, 'cause they'll all be so high on Jesus.

Craig isn't too swift1 Like Gish, he knows how to obfuscate.
A poll indicates that most evangelicals think that all good people will be saved! Yes, that cognitive dissonance.
