A list of news headlines which, if not exactly obvious, aren’t exactly surprising, either:
*Bush disagrees with court’s Guantanamo ruling (AP)
*Iranian leader calls Bush a ‘wicked man’
*Lawmakers say Capitol computers hacked by Chinese
*McCain says gas prices won’t drop and could rise
*Dems reluctant to take on ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’
*Alcohol craving reduced by drugs
Gas prices hit another record
*Bush, Congress have no quick fix for gas prices
Finally, there’s an honorable mention for Software looks into voters’ subconscious, whose title looks interesting enough, but wins with an obvious lead sentence: “Terrorism, a slow economy and rising gas prices are issues that can keep American voters awake at night.”
I find it curious that the media seems to be lagging behind the American public, many of whom are no doubt uttering a collective ‘no shit’.
